A visitation for Mr. Rosalio De La Rosa Hurtado, age 53, of Tatum, Texas, will be held from 5:00-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2009, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Rosalio passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2009, at his home in Tatum.
Rosalio De La Rosa Hurtado was born on September 4, 1956, in Zapata, Coahuila, Mexico to Juan De La Rosa and Enriqueta Hurtado Zavala. He worked for Blazer Construction in Carthage. Rosalio married Martha De La Rosa Carrizales on July 26, 1982, in Mexico. He moved to Tatum in 1989, from Sulpher Springs.
Rosalio is survived by his wife, Martha De La Rosa of Tatum; four sons, Juan Jose De La Rosa of DeBerry, Isaiah De La Rosa of Lakeport, Rafael De La Rosa of Carthage, and Luis De La Rosa of Tatum; one daughter, Mayda Rosalia De La Rosa of Tatum; and two grandchildren, Victoria Yliana De La Rosa and Miliano Rafael De La Rosa.
