Ronny White, 74, of Carthage, Texas, passed away on Monday afternoon, August 7, 2023, in Tyler, Texas. Ronny Eugene White was born on August 29, 1948, in Paris, Texas to the late Ervin Earl and Irene Veda Palmer White. He attended schools in Cunningham, Texas. Ronny owned and operated businesses through his career including his asphalt business, Joroda Construction and S&W Tire in Carthage. After retirement, he worked in farming and ranching and drove a bus for Panola College. He was a fantastic storyteller, boss to everyone he worked with, and a father figure to many. Ronny moved to Carthage from Sulphur Springs in 1987. He married Dana Le Rhodes on June 29, 2007, in Carthage. Ronny attended Macedonia Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Debbie Soape White; siblings, Arlie White, Jackie Rook, and Johnny White.

He is survived by his wife, Dana White; children, Jon White and wife Tammie, Dameon White and wife Leilani, Cory White and wife Amanda, Clint White and wife Danielle, Caleb Fallin and wife Kaelee, and Avery Malone and husband Max; sister, Jimmie Long; 15 grandchildren with one on the way; and 8 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 11, 2023, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Randy Miller and Bro. Dennis Aaron officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Corey Turner, Patrick Malone, Andrew Malone, Chance White, Slate Crooks, Kade Hogg, Dawson Howard, and Dylan Howard.

Honorary pallbearers are Jeff Crooks, Tim Huddleston, Brad Peterson, Randall Shull, Blaine Rhodes, Lane Howard, Garrett Burford, and Reggie Miller.
