Ronnie Clinton Williams, 70, of Carthage, TX, passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021, at his home near Carthage. He was born on April 18, 1951, in Carthage to Roy Clinton "R.C." and Bettie Louise Eppinger Williams. He graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1969. Ronnie worked for many years as a welder in the pipeline construction business and was a longtime member of Pipeliner's Union #798. He more recently worked as a crane operator. Ronnie was also a Mason. He lived his lifetime in Carthage and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Ronnie was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Steve Williams.

He is survived by his mother, Bettie Williams; daughters, Shelleigh Williams and Skylar Ayres and husband Matthew; sister, Patty Sue Orbaugh and husband Kris all of Carthage; grandchildren, Madolynn "Scooter" Permenter, Keller "Hoot" Permenter, Kinder "Skeeter" Pierce, and Korbynn "Missy" Ayres; and the mother of his children, Goldie Langford of Carthage. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends also survive.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 2, 2021, at City Cemetery in Carthage with Dr. Kirby Hill officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
