Ronald Walling, 77, of Carthage, Texas, formerly of New Summerfield, Texas, passed away Tuesday morning, August 22, 2023, in Tyler.  He was born on June 15, 1946, in Palestine, Texas, to the late Norman Louis and Emma Geneva Crawford Walling. Ronald worked in the flooring installation business until his retirement. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Sue Herzog; and brother, Carroll Walling.

Ronald is survived by his children, Jeffrey Walling, Ronnie Walling and wife April, Rhonda Hurt and husband Ed, and Cathy Schutze; brother, Danny Walling and wife Dory; 5 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. –12 noon on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at the Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel.

Honorary pallbearers are Allen Hurt, Chris Hurt, Chester Ethridge, Carmen Crawford, Bud Hamilton, and Chris Schutze.
