Obituary
A funeral service for Roger Dale Rayson, 54, of Carthage, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Rayson passed away on Saturday morning, Oct. 3, 2015, in Longview.
Roger Dale Rayson was born on Dec. 6. 1960, in Panola County, TX, to the late Eugene and Ella Mae Hicks Rayson. He lived his lifetime in Panola County and owned a lawn care business in Carthage for many years. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Rayson was also preceded in death by one brother, Jim Dan Rayson.
Mr. Rayson is survived by eight siblings, Huey P. Rayson and wife Bonnie Jean of Dallas, Billie Jean Lister of Carthage, Allie Phane McGill of Longview, Alice Ray Blankenship and husband Bobby of Carthage, Willie Ivan Rayson of Carthage, James McCoy Rayson of Lubbock, Bobby Rydell Rayson of Sweetwater, and Tammy Scott of Garland.
