A graveside service for Robert Lee Sholar, 59, of Beckville, will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015, at Jackson Cemetery near Joaquin with Rev. Greg Edwards and John Sholar, Jr. officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Mr. Sholar passed away on Saturday morning, Feb. 14, 2015, at his home near Beckville.

Robert Lee Sholar was born on March 13, 1955, in Center, TX, to the late Andrew Ollis Sholar, Sr. and Ethel Lee Lewis Sholar. He married Almeda Mae Willard on Jan. 28, 1980, in Center. Mr. Sholar worked as a truck driver and enjoyed riding horses. He moved to Beckville 12 years ago and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Almeda Sholar of Beckville; son, Shannon Cox and wife Margaret of Beckville; three brothers, Andrew Sholar, Jr. and wife Jenny, John Sholar, Sr., and Richard Sholar, Sr. and wife Scottie all of Joaquin; two sisters, Martha Manasco of Logansport and Laura Rushing and husband Bill of Nacogdoches; grandchildren, Cheyenne Griffin and husband Austin and Gabby and Shannon Cox; great-grandchildren, Sabrina Cox and La'Riyah and Beau Griffin; and step-grandsons, Nathan Henshaw and Zac Mathews.

Pallbearers are John Sholar, Jr., Joey Sholar, Richard Sholar, Jr., Heath Sholar, Jackie Willard, and Nathan Henshaw.
