Robert Glyn Reynolds, 76, of the Gill Community, passed away on Thursday afternoon, August 26, 2021, at his home. He was born on August 18, 1945, in Gregg County, Texas to the late Harrell Dale Reynolds, Sr. and Winell Williamson Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds graduated from Tatum High School with the class of 1963. He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. He worked at Texas Utilities as a Maintenance Mechanic until his retirement. Mr. Reynolds was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Tatum. He moved to Gill from Tatum in 2015. Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister, Elaine Reynolds; and a brother, Jesse W. Reynolds.

He is survived by daughters, Penney Hemby and husband Scott of Sulphur Springs, Rhonda McClendon and husband Patrick of the Gill Community, and Telitha Collins and husband Larry of Carthage; brothers, Harrell Dale Reynolds of Lancaster, CA, Eugene Erman Reynolds of San Antonio, and Welton Royce Reynolds of Princeton, LA; grandchildren, Seth, Noah, Christina, Amelia, Audrey, Juliet, Mike, Lance, and Lauren; and great-grandchildren, Maelyn, Rawley, Emma, Brannon, Sammy, Lucas, and Nash.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 30, 2021, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Billy Brewer officiating. Interment will follow in Tatum Cemetery with Dale Reynolds officiating. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Scott Hemby, Noah Hemby, Chris Reynolds, Michael Collins, Lance Collins, and Nick White.
