A graveside service for Mr. Robert Patrick "Pat" Bertram, 72, of Longview, TX, formerly of Carthage, TX will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at Restland Memorial Park near Carthage with Rev. Virginia Wall officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the graveside services. Mr. Bertram passed away on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, in Longview.

Robert Patrick Bertram was born on Apr. 3, 1941, in Beaumont, TX to the late Robert Houston and Carolyn Jane Kirkpatrick Bertram. He loved sports. Pat was a member of the Wesley-McCabe United Methodist Church in Longview where he sang in the choir.

Mr. Bertram is survived by his brother, Rodney Bertram and wife Patricia of Longview and two nieces, Cammy Altman of Longview and Courtney Shelton of Allen.
