Ricky Williams, 66, of Carthage, TX, passed away on Thursday morning, Aug. 27, 2020, in Henderson. Ricky Dean Williams was born on Aug. 15, 1954, in Carthage, to the late Walter P. and Mary Dean Williams. He attended Beckville schools and later worked in the oil industry. Ricky loved fishing and being with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandmother, who raised him, Lena "Big Mama" Williams; and siblings, Charlotte Scott and Ronnie Williams

Survivors include his wife, Dolly Hodge Williams of Carthage; sons, Chris Williams and wife Heather of Beckville, Jason Williams of Carthage, Dakota Williams of Georgia and Marcus Blalock of Gadston, AL; daughters, Brandy Bridges of Carthage, Amber Williams of Georgia and Angela Blalock of Carthage; brother, Johnnie Plunkett and wife Patti of Warren; sisters, Tawhanna Rice of Beaumont, Brenda Pierce and husband Kenneth of Beckville, Lois Hess and husband Jim of Highland, IL and Jeanene Eaton and husband Rusty of Tyler; numerous grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and longtime friend Johnny Yates of Carthage.  A host of other family members and friends also survive.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2020 at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
