Foy Ricky McClellan, 66, of Carthage, TX, passed away on Monday evening, May 10, 2021, in Carthage. He was born on Sept. 20, 1954, in Warren, AR to the late Dixon and Gladys Erlene Kea McClellan. Mr. McClellan served his country in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. He worked for many years as a compressor mechanic in the oil field industry until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and was a master craftsman. Mr. McClellan married Janice Howell on Sept. 9, 1994, in Carthage. He was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church near Carthage where he served as a deacon and greatly enjoyed fellowship with his church family. Mr. McClellan was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Mary Elizabeth McClellan.

He is survived by his wife, Janice McClellan; children, Frances McClellan Wilson, Bobby Reed and wife Brandi, and Bonnie Kenderdine and husband Clifton; grandchildren, Jason Smallwood, Hailey Smallwood, Rebecca Smallwood, Hope Smallwood, Josh Bledsoe, Carly Bledsoe, Baylee Reed, Baylor Reed, Tye McKnight, Lane McKnight, and Eastyn McKnight; great-grandchildren, Ava Cornell, Theodore Bledsoe, and Ivy Bledsoe; and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Heart's Way Hospice for the loving care provided to their loved one.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 14, 2021, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Freddy Mason and Jim Moss officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Tye McKnight, Lane McKnight, Baylor Reed, Josh Bledsoe, Larry Hearn, and Dustin Bryant.

Honorary pallbearer is Larry Bryant.
