Richard Rodney Napier, 65, of Carthage, TX, passed away on Friday morning, August 9, 2019, at his home near Carthage. He was born on March 4, 1954, in Ft. Worth, TX to the late Barton Kahle and Virginia Ann Bratcher Napier. Mr. Napier graduated from Southwest High School in Ft. Worth with the class of 1972. He married Kathi Lipscomb on November 17, 1977, in Ft. Worth. Mr. Napier worked as an electrical inspector in the Pipeline Industry. He loved fishing. Mr. Napier moved to Carthage in 1997, from Ft. Worth and was of the Episcopal faith.

Survivors include his wife, Kathi Napier of Carthage; son, Rick Napier and wife Maggie of Carthage; grandchildren, Brycen, Pearce, Addison, and Kinzley; and niece, Natalie Napier of Ft. Worth.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel.
