Phyllis Ann Robinson, 89, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Bryan, Texas and Carthage, Texas, passed away on Friday night, August 25, 2023, in Houston. Phyllis Ann Langley was born on March 4, 1934, in Beckville, Texas to the late John Oliver and Amelia Maude Cochran Langley. She married Earl Long Robinson on December 6, 1952, and he preceded her in death on April 6, 2017, after 64 plus years together. Mrs. Robinson was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Carthage Chapter #747 and was of the Baptist faith. She was a former member of Beacon Baptist Church in Bryan and Bethel Baptist Church in Clayton, Texas. She was also preceded in death by siblings, Doicus Ray Langley, Libby Harris, Joe Langley, Agnes Weaver, Lou Bolton, Jimmie Davis, Bill Langley, and Margie Dodson.

Mrs. Robinson is survived by her son, Bruce Earl Robinson and wife Buffi and grandchildren, Jacob Robinson and wife Kendra and Hallie Robinson. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends also survive.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Doc Lazarine officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for a visitation at 1-2 p.m. on Thursday prior to the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Jacob Robinson, Hallie Robinson, Randy Rychlik, Josh Rychlik, Scott Davis, and Burt Langley.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the caregivers at MorningStar Assisted Living and Memory Care at River Oaks who so lovingly took care of her.
