Obituary

Graveside services for Mrs. Peggy Pierce Maxwell of Jenkins, Missouri will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, 2007 at Langley Cemetery with Brother James Greer and Brother David Fallin officiating. Interment will follow the services under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday evening at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Mrs. Maxwell passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2007 in Jenkins, Missouri as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Mrs. Maxwell was born on July 22, 1962 in Center, Texas to Davis and Claudia Deason Pierce. She attended Carthage Schools. Mrs. Maxwell married James Maxwell on May 11, 2003 in Dallas. She moved to Jenkins from Texas four years ago and worked at the Jenkins Quick Stop. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Mrs. Maxwell is survived by her mother, Claudia Pierce of Carthage, her husband, James Maxwell of Jenkins, Missouri, three daughters, Christine Stephens of Marshall, Peggy Jordan of Paxton, and April Hicks and fiancée Steve Dallman of Exeter, Missouri, two brothers, David L. Pierce and wife Brenda of Carthage, and Daniel Pierce of Carthage, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bill and Lorena Harrington of Jenkins, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Joshua Jordan, Sam Marsh, Christopher Marsh, Claudia Marsh, Breanna Juno, Joseph Juno, and Heather Jordan. Several nieces and nephews also survive Mrs. Maxwell.
