Peggy June Rowe Allison, 62, of Old Center, passed away on Wednesday night, Nov. 9, 2016, at her home in Old Center. She was born on Aug. 7, 1954, in Carthage to the late June and Geneva Louise Smith Rowe. She graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1972, and attended Stephen F. Austin State University. Peggy worked as a land man for many years in the oil and gas industry and was a member of the AAPL. She loved fishing and trot lining. Peggy enjoyed reading her Bible and was a fantastic and loving sister, mother, and grandmother. She adored her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Gennefer June.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Ben Brimhall and wife Gwen of Old Center and John Allison and wife C.J. of Carthage; step-children, Ashlee Alexander and husband Billy of Carthage and Trenton Allison and wife Dana of Carthage; siblings, Robert Rowe and wife Angie of Tenaha, Randy Rowe of Old Center, and Patty Twomey and husband Hank of Old Center; and grandchildren, Landon, Kailey, Benson, Micah, Lillian, and Rafe. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends also survive Peggy.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, at Old Center Baptist Church with Bro. Jared Brown and Dr. Allen Tilley officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Old Center Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Blake Thames, Jonathan Twomey, Trenton Allison, Landon Braun, Chris Mercer, and Phillip Johnson.

Honorary pallbearers are Benson Brimhall and Rafe Allison.
