Graveside services for Mrs. Pauline Gray, age 91 of Carthage, Texas, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Oddfellows Cemetery with Rev. Jack McMahon officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Gray passed away on Sunday morning, January 11, 2009 in Carthage.

Pauline Twomey Gray was born on December 13, 1917 in Carthage to Robert H. and Alice M. Cherry Twomey. She graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1936. Mrs. Gray owned and operated Pauline's Beauty Shop for over 50 years. She was a member of the Rehobeth United Methodist Church. Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Frank W. Gray who passed away on November 1, 1982.

Mrs. Gray is survived by two sons, Professor W. Robert Gray and wife Mary of Fort Worth and Gregory Franklin Gray of Lufkin; a niece, Carolyn Lewis and husband Bill of Shreveport; and special caregivers, Diane Cole and Ruby Williams.
