Mr. Paul Edgar King, 73 of Hemphill, TX passed away January 7, 2021, in Longview, TX. Paul was born December 16, 1947, in Texarkana, TX to Claude Edwin and Winnie Melba Kirkpatrick King. He married Jacquelyn (Jackie) Lou Hardy on February 24, 1974, and they celebrated 46 years together. Paul worked as a barber most of his life and loved playing golf, fishing, playing pool and darts. He was a wonderful Christian man that was passionate about Jesus Christ. Paul is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sue Kirby; and brother, Robbie King.

Mr. King is survived by his loving wife, Jackie of Hemphill; daughter, Robbie Lynn Kear and husband Mike of New Caney; son, Troy King and wife Amy of Carthage; daughter, Patricia Milam and husband Mike of California; grandchildren, Stephen Whitehead and Brittany, Bebe Clark and Caleb, Ryan King, Cody King, Austin George and Taylor, Addi George, Seth Milam, Parker Milam, and Chase Milam; great-grandchildren, Silas Clark and Daisey Lynn Whitehead; and his special fur baby, Tessa; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home, 1131 State Hwy 149, Carthage, TX 75633.
