Patty Orbaugh, 67, of Carthage, Texas, passed away on Tuesday night, April 1, 2025, at her home near Carthage. Patty Sue Williams was born on May 28, 1957, in Carthage to Roy Clinton "R.C." and Bettie Eppinger Williams. She graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1975, at earned an Associate's Degree from Panola College. Patty married Kristopher James Orbaugh on October 6, 1990, in Carthage at Southside Baptist Church. She loved to listen to Southern Gospel music and spending time with her family. Patty was a longtime and devoted member of Southside Baptist Church where she played the piano and organ for many years. She was preceded in death by her father, R.C. Williams and brothers, Ronnie and Steve Williams.

She is survived by her loving husband, Kris Orbaugh; daughters, Krista Orbaugh and Kassi Orbaugh-Crager and fiancé Tyler Crager; mother, Bettie Williams; and grandchildren, Jasmine and Hunter Crager. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and church family also survive.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Carthage City Cemetery with Dr. Kirby Hill officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Robert Peterson, Charles Stiner, Mike Adams, Kirk Orbaugh, Sonny Grimes, and Keller Permenter.

Honorary pallbearers are Tyler Crager, Mike Lemon, Matt Ayers, and Jess Powers.
