Patsy Wilcots, 70, of Carthage, TX, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2022, at her home near Carthage. She was born on Jan. 16, 1952, in Carthage to the late Clemmie D. and Fannie Mae Collins Bell. Patsy graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1971. She worked for Wal-Mart for over 25 years, retiring as a Department Manager. Patsy married Michael Ray Wilcots on June 10, 2012, in Longview. She loved singing, church, and flowers. Mrs. Wilcots lived most of her life in Carthage and was a member of the First Assembly Church of God in Christ. She was preceded in death by her sister, Fannie Ruth Hawkins.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Wilcots; children, Shernia Jones (Ryan), Terese Kendricks, Jonathan Gibbs, Garrick Gibbs, Marvin Wilcots, Renee Wilcots, and Shunon Bradly; siblings, Billie Jean Lewis, Larry Cooper, Farmeta Thompson (Lloyd), and Roy Bell; and grandchildren, Ellen and Adrian Goodacre, Jalen Prince, Mila Gibbs, Michael Elston, Alarick Wilcots, Aleashea, Deshawn, and Jayla McClinton, and Nathaniel Bradly.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2022, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel.

Honorary pallbearers are Jonathan Gibbs, Garrick Gibbs, Adrian Goodacre, Jr., Jalen Prince, Marvin Wilcots, Michael Elston, Alarick Wilcots, and DeShawn McClinton.
