Patricia Dianne Walker, 69, of Gary, TX, passed away on Monday morning, July 15, 2019, in Tyler, TX.  She was born on Sept. 2, 1949, in Ferriday, Concordia Parish, LA to the late John Alvin and Ora Reida Hartzog Walker. Patricia graduated from Waterproof, LA High School with the class of 1967. She enjoyed playing board games and puzzles and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Patricia moved to the area in 1989, from Denham Springs, LA. She was preceded in death by her son, Brandon Scott; brothers, Gerald, Howard, Noel, and Bill Walker and Lloyd Arnold; and sister, Evelyn Stephens.

She is survived by her daughter, Monica Vance and husband William of Denham Springs, LA; son, Bryan Scott of Gary, TX; brothers, Hulon Walker and wife Charlene of Huntington, TX and Mike Walker of Newellton, LA; sisters, Nina Grass of Gresham, OR and Viola Bamburg of Newellton, LA; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends also survive.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2019, at Gary Cemetery with Dr. Dale Reed officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Ali Roehl, Adam Hough, Blake Young, Eric Riggs, Fidel Mojica and Rocky Roehl.
