Patricia Vasquez, 63, of Carthage, TX, passed away on Saturday night, March 5, 2022, at her home in Carthage. Patricia Colleen Odom was born on May 20, 1958, in Beaumont, TX, to the late Elmer and Eula Mae Snider Odom. She attended Vidor schools growing up. Patricia married Santiago Franco Vasquez on April 11, 1998, in Carthage. She moved to Carthage from Longview in 1998, and was of the apostolic faith.

She is survived by her husband, Santiago Vasquez of Carthage; children, Kevin Odom, Priscilla McGilvary, Byron Villagran, and Anthony Cruz; siblings, Kathy Cormicle, Daniel Odom, Timothy Odom, and James Odom; and six grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2022, at the Carthage City Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Otto officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12-1 on Friday at the funeral home prior to the graveside service.
