Funeral services for Patricia Ann Sullivan, age 63, of the Galloway Community of Panola County, Texas formerly of Minden, Nebraska, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2009, at the Westminster United Presbyterian Church in Minden with Rev. Dr. Berke Landrum officiating. Interment will follow in the Minden Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. and from 7-8 p.m. on Friday at Layton-Craig Funeral Home in Minden. Mrs. Sullivan passed away at her home in the Galloway Community on Monday, August 17, 2009, after a long battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. Local arrangements are under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.

Patricia Ann Vogt Sullivan was born on December 17, 1945, in Minden, Nebraska to Clarence and Cleo Keedle Vogt. She grew up in the Minden area and graduated from Minden High School. She married Larry Johansen in 1963 and they were blessed with three children, Laurie, Kathy, and John. Pat later married Thomas Sullivan in the late 70's and they lived in Minden. In 2004, they moved to the Galloway Community of Panola County, Texas. Pat loved horses, bowling, and being around her family. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Sullivan of the Galloway Community; two daughters, Laurie Wright and husband Kenny of Eustis, Nebraska and Kathy Aspegren and husband LaMoine of Minden; one son, John Johansen and wife Micki of Minden; step-son, Thomas Sullivan of Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Janet Rogers and husband Bud of Minden; three brothers, Lonnie Vogt and wife Ruth of Milford, Bob Vogt and wife Karen of Kearney, and Don Vogt and wife Ramona of Minden.
