Pam Westbrook, 67, of Carthage, TX, passed away on Monday afternoon, March 27, 2023, in Carthage. Pamela Kaye Lawrence was born on Aug. 14, 1955, in Carthage, to Edward Rufus "Shorty" and Alice Marie Hudson Lawrence. She graduated with the Carthage High School class of 1973. Pam married David Eugene Westbrook on May 20, 1972, at Walnut Springs Baptist Church in the Horton Community of Panola County, TX. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of First Baptist Church in Carthage. Pam loved dogs and was a dedicated advocate, speaker and volunteer for Donate Life, a program for organ donation and transplant. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, James and Robert Lawrence.

Pam is survived by her husband, David Westbrook; sons, Matt Westbrook and wife Erica and Glenn Westbrook and wife Melissa; sister, Alice Boren and husband Albert; and grandchildren, Maycie and Merritt Westbrook. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Allen Tilley and Richard Reed officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
