Pam Ransom, 69, of Carthage, TX, passed away on Saturday afternoon, June 26, 2021, in Carthage. Pamala June Ransom was born on Dec. 27, 1951, in Carthage to the late Ronald Richard and Leona Iris Latham Ransom. Pam graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1970. She attended beauty operator school where she earned a cosmetology certification. Pam worked as a beautician in Carthage until her retirement. She was of the Baptist faith. Pam was preceded in death by brothers, Richard, Dana M. and Edwin Ray Ransom.

She is survived by a brother, Don Ransom and wife Paula; a sister-in-law, Sherry Ransom; nephews, Mel Ransom and wife Renee, Derek Santos, Jeff Ransom and wife Teresa, and Greg Ransom and wife Leigh; and nieces, Kristi Newell and husband Kent, Michelle Hicks and husband Joe, Renee Maca and husband Greg, Suzette Ransom, and Stephanie Ransom.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the memorial service.

Honorary pallbearers are Mel Ransom, Greg Ransom, Jeff Ransom, Calvin Wilson, George Shuttlesworth, and Ross Johnson.
