Funeral services for Mrs. Olgia Faye Stephenson, age 91, of Carthage, TX, will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Dustin Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Bethel Cemetery near Gary, TX. The family will recieve friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Stephenson passed away on Friday morning, Aug. 5, 2011, in Carthage.

Olgia Faye Wilkerson Stephenson was born on May 26, 1920, in the Buncomb Community of Panola County, TX to Eugene S. and Eunice Mims Wilkerson. She married Ira Buck Stephenson on Sept. 15, 1939, and he preceded her in death on May 11, 1990. Mrs. Stephenson lived her lifetime in Panola County and was an active and devoted member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1954. She was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Howard, James, and Eddie Wilkerson; and three sisters, Avis Wilkerson, Gladys Miller, and Oredian Pride "Bo" Cranmore.

Mrs. Stephenson is survived by two sons, H. Dan Stephenson and wife Linda of Berea, KY and Sammy Stephenson and wife Charlotte of Carthage; three sisters, Marie Shires, Robbie Frizzell and husband Jack, and Margaret Wilkerson; and five grandchildren, Jason Stephenson and wife Stephanie, Jared Stephenson and wife Amy, Brandon Stephenson and wife Mindy, Autumn Rogers and husband Dustin, and Derick Stephenson. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends also survive Mrs. Stephenson.

Serving as pallbearers are Derick Stephenson, Brandon Stephenson, Jared Stephenson, Nikalas Stephenson, Jerry Stephenson and Jonathan Stephenson.

The family would like to thank long-time caregiver, Mrs. Diane Adams and the staff and nurses of Heart's Way Hospice and Panola Nursing Home for the loving care shown to Mrs. Stephenson.
