Neda Rae Armstrong Hutto, 70 of Lufkin, Texas formerly of Carthage, Texas, passed away on Sunday morning, March 10, 2024, in Lufkin. She was born on November 8, 1953, in Carthage to the late Monnie Ray and Juanita Violet Kropp Armstrong. She graduated from Carthage High School and attended college. Neda was of the Baptist faith. She was also preceded in death by her son, Matthew DeWayne Hutto and her brother, Bobby Wayne Armstrong.

She is survived by a son, Mark Allen Hutto and her sister, Patricia Ann Lindley and husband Bob.

A service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
