Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Nannie Faye Osburn, age 79 of Beckville, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 2, 2006 at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jack Harris and Jackie Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Langley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Osburn passed away on Saturday morning, September 30, 2006 in Beckville.
Mrs. Nannie Faye Dunn Osburn was born August 5, 1927 in Beckville, Texas to William Irvin and Ethel Waits Dunn. She graduated from Beckville High School in 1944. She married Thurmon Osburn on March 6, 1945 in Beckville. Mrs. Osburn worked in the Food Service department of Beckville I.S.D. She had lived her lifetime in Beckville and was a member of the Pine Grove Assembly in Beckville. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Ellie Dee Redmon and Millie Williams.
Mrs. Osburn is survived by her husband of 61 years, Thurmon Osburn of Beckville; one son Joe Ervin of Beckville; three daughters, Rebecca Gaile Toon and husband Roger of Kilgore, Sherian Jean Brasher and husband Sonny of Beckville, and Donna Kaye Yates of Beckville; seven grandchildren, Dwain Rieke and wife Judy of Beckville, Royce Rieke and wife Mandie of Kilgore, Josh Toon and wife Lorie of Dallas, Jennifer Toon of Houston, Sonya Hathorn and husband Bryan of Henderson, Clay Brasher and wife Kelly of Hutchinson, KS, and Justin Williams of Beckville; twelve great-grandchildren, Kimberly, Maddie, Ashton, Rain, Ivy, Rowdy, Christopher, Hunter, Tyler, Haden, Kaylee, and Kyle; and a special niece, Marie Barger of Hugo, OK.
Serving as pallbearers are Dwain Rieke, Royce Rieke, Clay Brasher, Justin Williams, Durward Lynn Ross, and Bryan Hathorn. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Bill Langley, Dr. Andy Nutt, Ralph Williams, Glen Johns, Gene Mothershed, S. L. Brightwell, and Durwin Akins.
