Nancy Scott, 74, of Carthage, TX, passed away on Saturday afternoon, May 16, 2020, in Tyler, TX. Nancy Carolyn Wilkerson was born on Oct. 30, 1945, in Panola County, TX to the late James Jack and Rachel Susana Davis Wilkerson. She graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1965.  Nancy married Robert Eldridge "Bobby" Scott on Aug. 14, 1970, in Carthage and he preceded her in death on June 1, 2006. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Carthage. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Jackie Cardenas.

She is survived by her children, Charlotte Addington of Bossier City, Kim Baker of Carthage and Jamie Scott of Carthage; grandchildren, Ashley Lane Sneed, Amanda Dawn Addington, Arika Nicole Addington, DeAnna Baker, William Colby Baker, Wendell Kagen Baker and fiancé Cassie Hall, and James Kaleb Baker; and great-grandchildren, Peyton, TaNeya, Xzavier, TiNijah, Aannastashia, Aaliviyah, Tavyon, Kinley Jane, and one on the way.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2020, at City Cemetery in Carthage with Pastor Don Cocklin officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Kagen Baker, Kaleb Baker, Colby Baker, Jamie Scott, Bryan Murff, Willie Brooks and Josh Boren.
