Myrna Eason, 79, of Houston, TX formerly of Carthage, TX, passed away on Saturday morning, May 18, 2019, in Humble, TX. Myrna Louise Hill was born on Jan. 24, 1940, in Borger, TX to the late George Lloyd and Eva Lee Howard Hill. She married Earl Jordan Eason on Dec. 29, 1960, in Houston and he preceded her in death on Dec. 3, 2006. She loved handcrafts of all kinds including cross-stitch, crocheting, knitting, and embroidery. She loved working puzzles and reading romance, mystery, and fiction novels. Myrna was a member of the Pine Hill United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother and sister-in-law, Clifford Benjamin Hill and wife Betty; sisters, Monis Rose Smith, Geraldine Brown and husband Paul, Georgia Ann Hazelwood, Janna Lee Hill, Barbara Elizabeth Green and husband Ray, Molly Octavia Russnell, Christine Rosetta Bolt and husband James, and Sandra Gail Hetherly; and granddaughter, Amanda Marie Eason.

She is survived by children, George Earl Eason and wife Belinda and D'Anna Lynn Eason Miller and husband Melvin; granddaughters, Tammy, Hannah, and Evelyn Grace; and great-grandchildren, Christopher Lee Rea and Josiah and Khloie Ochoa.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2019, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Daniel Rigsby officiating. Interment will be in Shiloh Cemetery, Rusk County, TX. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Wayne Jones, Terry Morrison, Jim Briggs, Daniel Rast, Roger Miller, and Clifford Green.
