Funeral services for Baby Miracle Mona Carpenter, age 8 months, of Carthage, TX, will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Thorn officiating. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery near Gary. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Baby Carpenter passed away on Sunday morning, Sept. 11, 2011, in Dallas.

Baby Miracle Mona Carpenter was born on Jan. 9, 2011, in Longview, TX to Derrick Latodd Carpenter, Sr. and Gabriall Dominique Davis Carpenter. She loved playing with her stuffed monkey.

Baby Carpenter is survived by her parents, Derrick and Dominique Carpenter; two brothers, Derrick Latodd Carpenter, Jr. and Laderrion Carpenter; grandparents, Carolyn and Tim Davis, Polly Evans, and Scott and Peggy Darby; uncle, Johnny Carpenter; and aunt and uncle, Sonya and Keith Brown. Numerous other relatives also survive Baby Carpenter.

Serving as pallbearers are K.J. Brown, Jr. and Tray Brown.
