Obituary
A funeral service for Mrs. Minnie Lou Bagley, 85, of the Shiloh Community in Panola County, TX, will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, at Shiloh Baptist Church with Bro. Bill Hines officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Shiloh Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Bagley passed away on Saturday morning, Nov. 2, 2013, in Shreveport, LA.
Minnie Lou Lynch Bagley was born on Oct. 20, 1928, in Alexandria, LA to the late Paul Travis and Edna Clara O'Neal Lynch. She married W. Hewey Bagley on Oct. 2, 1944, in Bossier City, LA and he preceded her in death on March 8, 1982. Mrs. Bagley ran her family's dairy farm for over 20 years after her husband's death. She was a long-time member of the Shiloh Baptist Church and served on the Shiloh Baptist Cemetery Assn. for many years. Mrs. Bagley was also preceded in death by a child, Billy Bob Bagley.
Mrs. Bagley is survived by her four children, Bonnie Pope and husband Dale of Shiloh, Butch Bagley and wife Linda of Richardson, Brenda Fisher and husband Donnie of Shiloh, and Barry Bagley and wife Linda of Houston; two sisters, Geraldine Wilkerson and Shirley Lambert both of Shiloh; one brother, Steve Lynch and wife Maxine of Grand Cane; three sisters-in-law, Carolyn Brown and Joann Shadowens both of Shiloh and Peggy Jojola of Albuquerque, NM; one brother-in-law, Hiram Bagley of Shiloh; nine grandchildren, John Lindsly and wife Stephanie, Wendi Lindsly Tate, Mandy Pope Duran and husband Adam, Wade Bagley and wife Julia, Matt Bagley, Barry Wayne Bush and wife Britt, and Travis, Lauren, and Clay Bagley; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are John Lindsly, Ramon Landeros, Matt Bagley, Wade Bagley, Clay Bagley, Travis Bagley, Barry Wayne Bush, Adam Duran, and Zach Stevens.
