A graveside service for Milton Chester Weaver, 68, of Magnolia, TX, will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, at Strong Cemetery in Rusk County with Pastor Arnold Shrewsbury officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Mr. Weaver passed away on Saturday morning, Aug. 23, 2014, in Magnolia.
Milton Chester Weaver was born on Dec. 3, 1945, in Houston to the late Jesse and Sarah Armenda Miller Weaver. He graduated from High School in Waco in 1963 and later joined the U.S. Navy where he served his country before being honorably discharged. Mr. Weaver worked in the oil field until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an artist. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Betty Smith Evans.
Mr. Weaver is survived by his son, Douglas Owen Weaver and wife Emma of Nixon; two daughters, April James and husband David and Megan Weaver all of Magnolia; ten grandchildren, Eric, Tabitha, Mathew, Benjamin, Ava, Samuel, Malcolm, Sheila, Tanya, and Eddie; and six great-grandchildren, Javen, Dylon, Davian, Davelon, Logan, and Laelah.
