Graveside services for Mrs. Millie M. Hall, age 94 of the Deadwood Community of Panola County, Texas, formerly of Ohio, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Ravine Cemetery in Sylvania, Ohio under the direction of Reeb Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home in Carthage. Mrs. Hall passed away on Sunday night, August 3, 2008 in Carthage.

Millie Melvina Whelchel Hall was born on November 9, 1913 in Marion, Indiana to John Wesley David and Bertha May Pettigrew Whelchel. She married Gradon Frank Hall on June 18, 1931 in Ohio. She loved being outdoors which included fishing and gardening. She also enjoyed crocheting and sewing. Mrs. Hall lived in Panola County for the past fifteen years and was a member of the Southside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband who passed away on October 17, 1967; one son, Marvin F. Hall; two daughters, Judith C. Hall and Dorothy M. Westfall; four brothers; and four sisters.

Mrs. Hall is survived by one son, Kenneth Eugene Hall and wife Nancy of Swanton, OH; three daughters, June Marilyn Broadaway and husband Billy of Deadwood, TX, Margery F. Wells of Vista, CA, and Bonetta I. Trevino of Cleveland, OH; eighteen grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
