Graveside services for Mrs. Mildred Virginia Kinnett, age 84, of Carthage, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2006 at Burkburnett Cemetery in Burkburnett, Texas under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home in Carthage. Mrs. Kinnett passed away on Sunday morning, November 26, 2006 in Carthage, Texas.

Mildred Virginia Kinnett was born in Bennington, Oklahoma on February 23, 1922 to Tom and Julia P. Sapp Brian. Mrs. Kinnett was a homemaker and had lived in Carthage since February of 2002, moving from Iowa Park, Texas. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church of Iowa Park. Mrs. Kinnett was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Virgil Willie Kinnett who died on December 18, 2000 and a daughter, Marie Prescott who died in 1989.

Mrs. Kinnett is survived by three sons, Danny Kinnett and wife Juanita of Carthage, Texas, Dexter Kinnett and wife Carmen of Lafayette, Louisiana, and Robert Kinnett of Iowa Park, Texas; ten grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and great- great grandchildren also survive Mrs. Kinnett.
