Mike Nail, 69, of Carthage, Texas, passed away on Tuesday morning, December 3, 2024, at his home. Edward Michael Nail was born on June 4,1955, to B.H. and Reba Nell Mayhaw Nail. Growing up, he went to Pine Tree and Carthage schools. Mike attended church at Abundant Life and Northside Christian Center. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, B.H. Nail and Reba Nell Gilbreath, "Jim Nail".

Mike is survived by his children, LaShawn Edge, Trent Nail, and Trey Nail; grandchildren, Michael Edge and wife Jennifer, Madalyn Nail, and Olyvia Nail; great-grandchildren, Kolt Adkison and wife Maisie, Klay Adkison and wife Jaci, Waylon Edge, and Wyatt Edge; great-great-grandchild, Declan Adkison; and aunts, Betty Wills and Linda Fields. Numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends also survive.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 6, 2024, at the Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Sis. Betty Wills officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Tim Anders, Shayne Shadowens, Casey Ishee, Kenny Capps, David Ramsey, and Jeremy Burns. Honorary pallbearers are Donnie Godwin and Goldman Whitman.
