Micharel Edward Hudson, 62, of Beckville, Texas, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024, in Carthage, Texas. He was born on January 22, 1962, in Barnwell, South Carolina to Marion Edward "Mutt" and Josie Marie "Mickey" Oswald Hudson. Mr. Hudson graduated from high school in Inverness, Scotland and attended college at Texas A&M University. Micharel also trained at the Texas Nuclear Institute and with Dale Carnegie Professional Development. He married Gay Lynn Perkins on July 4, 2006, in Carthage, Texas. Micharel worked for many years as an instrument technician in the oil and gas industry until his retirement and he also enjoyed working in the farm and ranch business. He loved anything outdoors including hunting, fishing, and shooting his guns and bows. He was a pidler at heart and loved to build and tear things apart. Micharel was a thrill seeker and also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and skydiving. He attended Abundant Life Church in Carthage. Micharel was preceded in death by his father and siblings, Joseph Marion Hudson, Shirley Jean Hudson, and Janie Marie Hudson.

He is survived by his mother, Mickey Hudson; wife, Gay Lynn Hudson; sons, Joshua Hudson and wife Peyton Sullivan, Jay Spikes and wife Amanda, Joshua Wilkinson, Christopher Hudson, and Nicholas Hudson; the mother of his children, Leigh Ann Elkins; grandsons, Emmett Hudson, Colton Spikes, and Waylon Spikes; and siblings, Carolyn Elkins, Johnny Matsoukas and wife Amber, and Cindy Bearden and husband Kenneth. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends also survive.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Sister Betty Wills officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Josh Hudson, Jay Spikes, Joshua Wilkinson, Christopher Hudson, Nicholas Hudson, and Austin Elkins. Honorary pallbearers are Jonathan Matsoukas, Nicholas Petticrew, and Tyler Elkins.
