Michael Dean Anderson, 48, of Carthage, TX, passed away on Monday morning, Nov. 20, 2017, in Carthage. He was born on April 7, 1969, in Carthage to Bobby L. and Donna Duckworth Anderson. He graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1987, and attended Panola College. He earned a certificate in Electrical Instrumentation from TSTC in Marshall. Mike loved hunting, fishing, music and especially spending time with his daughter. He had lived his lifetime in Carthage where he was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Donna and Bobby Anderson of Carthage; daughter, Emily Kathryn Anderson of Carthage; brothers, Bob Anderson and wife Felicia and Joey Anderson and wife Debra; nieces and nephews, Kaleb Anderson and wife Kelsi, Josie Anderson, Sarah Anderson, Sam Anderson and fiancé Shelby Allen, Laura and Jake Carpenter and Damian and Kaylea Lopez; five great-nieces and a great-nephew on the way. Numerous cousins, other relatives, and many friends also survive.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday Nov. 22, 2017, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Matt Comer officiating. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Kaleb Anderson, Sam Anderson, Toby Duckworth, Eric Duckworth, Robert Anderson, Bill Anderson, and Scott Anderson.
