Melinda Marie Wray, 58, of DeBerry, Texas passed away on Thursday morning, June 27, 2024, at her home in DeBerry. Melinda Marie Schrock was born March 22, 1966, in La Junta, Colorado to the late Robert Eugene and Ruth Ann Wright Schrock. She married Michael Howard Wray on April 11, 1998 in Aurora, Colorado and together they celebrated 26 years together. Melinda worked for Davis Chemical in Marshall and later for Five Star Truss in Waskom. She enjoyed catfishing, spending time with her puppies, and quilting. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, who loved their "Mimi" dearly. Melinda was a member of Word of God Ministries in Shreveport. She is also preceded in death by her step-father, Michael Cochrane and step-daughter, Kaylee Wray.

Survivors include her loving husband, Mike Wray; children, Christopher Wray and wife Kristal, Savannah Wray and fiancé Aeriel Sepulvado, and Carrianne Wray; grandchildren, Wesley and Ryan Wray; siblings, Rhonda Rable and husband John and Kevin Schrock; and her furry family, Luna, Saint, Raider and Arrow.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2024, with Pastor Russ Perry officiating at the Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel.
