Clint Jones, 61, of Carthage, TX, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019, at his home near Carthage. Melbourne Clinton Jones, Jr. was born in Orange, TX on July 31, 1958, to Melbourne Clinton Jones, Sr. and Frances Marie Lyon Jones. He worked as a small engine mechanic for many years. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his father and sibling, Lori Jones.

Mr. Jones is survived by his mother, Frances Marie Jones of Orange; daughters, Danielle Fields and husband Jarrett of Carthage and Shayna Maxey of Carthage; siblings, Larry Umipeg, Millicent Goodwin, Annette Moore, Melba Jones, Ronnie Jones, Renee Kelly and Carla Lavergne and grandchildren, McKenna, McKinley, Hudson, and Isaac.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2019, at Friendship Baptist Church in Carthage.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
