Funeral services for Mrs. Matea Luna, age 91 of Tatum, Texas, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 11, 2008 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Deacon Jose Luis officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be held at a later date in Panteon de Paloma in Cruz de Marin, Rio Verde, San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Mrs. Luna passed away on Friday afternoon, August 8, 2008 in Tatum.

Matea Diaz Luna was born on September 21, 1916 in Rio Verde, San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Eulogio and Demecia Alvarado Diaz. She married Bruno Luna and he preceded her in death on May 12, 1982.
