A funeral service for Mrs. Mary Ann Smith, age 68, of the Riderville Community in Panola County, TX will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Dale Reed officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Smith passed away on Sunday night, Sept. 22, 2013, in Nacogdoches.

Mary Ann Tulick Smith was born on Jan. 30, 1945, in Cadillac, Michigan to Albert J. and Emily Jane Yonkovitz Tulick. She married Marcus Wilton Smith on Oct. 13, 1973, in Cadillac. Mrs. Smith loved flower gardening, doing nails, and sewing. She was a member of the Carthage Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Robert Tulick; and one sister, Meme Emory.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Marcus Wilton Smith; two sons, Marcus Wilton Smith, Jr. and wife Christy and Joshua Joseph Smith all of Riderville; two brothers, Albert Tulick, Jr. of Cadillac, Michigan and Rocky Tulick and wife Lynda of Boon, Michigan; two sisters, Cindy Titus and husband Alan of Cadillac and Linda Hendrickson of Oregon; and one grandson, Austin Smith of Carthage.
