Graveside services for Mary Elizabeth May Neeley, age 44 years, of Bryan, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2006 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Mabank, Texas with Dr. Gary Fitzgerald officiating. Interment will follow the services under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Mary passed away on Monday, May 1, 2006 in Bryan, Texas.
Mary Elizabeth May Neeley was born on June 10, 1961 in Dallas, Texas to Billy James and Linda Diane Ballard May. She graduated from Mabank High School in 1979. She earned her associates degree from the Henderson County Junior College and earned her bachelor's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1983 with a major in marketing and a minor in fashion merchandising. She was of the Methodist faith and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Athens. Mary was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, paternal grandparents, and her sister, Cynthia Diane May on December 20, 1978.
Mary is survived by her parents, Bill and Diane May of Carthage, Texas; one son, Adam Neeley of Roundrock, Texas and Adam's father, Arthur Neeley of Roundrock, Texas; one brother Kevin May and wife Tiffani of Carthage, Texas; two nieces Chandler and Brett May of Carthage, Texas; special friend, Denise Love of Crandall, Texas; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives also survive Mary.
