Obituary
A memorial service for Mrs. Mary Louise Greer Endsley Noiel, age 72, of Carthage, TX, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kirthell Roberts and Rev. John Washington officiating. Inurnment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery near Carthage. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Noiel passed away on Monday morning, Oct. 24, 2011, in Tyler.
Mary Louise Greer Endsley Noiel was born on March 2, 1939, in Panola County, TX to the late Finis and Lavell Walton Greer. Mary attended Turner Public School, graduating with the class of 1959. She worked for many years at Panola General Hospital in the Housekeeping Department and later went to school and earned her X-Ray Technician Certificate. She started at Tyson Foods in 1995, where she worked until her retirement in 2010. She married James P. Noiel, Jr. on June 17, 2006. Mary received Christ in her early years at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Carthage and later joined Walnut Grove Baptist Church where she was an active member until her illness.
Mary is survived by her husband, James P. Noiel, Jr. of Marshall; one son, Frederick Endsley of Carrolton; one daughter, Sharon Burel and husband John of Cedar Hill; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two step-sons, Bryan and Bashi Noiel; two step-daughters, LaTisha Grady and Jamie Kennedy; five brothers, Willie Joe Greer and wife Mary of Timpson, Connie Greer and wife Patricia of Carthage, Jimmy Greer and wife Allie of Palm Springs, Cleophus Greer and wife Linda of Palm Springs, and Calvin Greer and wife Belinda of New Mexico; two sisters, Gladys Rocquemore of Carthage and Janet Barkins and husband Henry of Carthage; four sisters-in-law; and two brothers-in-law. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends also survive Mary.
The family wishes to acknowledge the love, warmth, and kindness you have extended during the passing and illness of our beloved mother, wife, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
