Marilyn Jean Sistrunk Cline, 80, of DeBerry, passed away peacefully at her home, on Tuesday afternoon, April 19, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 12, 1936, in Deadwood, to the late Jacob Rice and Minnie Ola McFadden Sistrunk. She graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1955. Ms. Jean married Ernest Eugene Cline on May 3, 1957, in Center. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Maurine Aaron and Eunice Carnes; and five brothers, Allen Sistrunk, Truman Sistrunk, Dan Sistrunk, Preston Sistrunk, and Jacob "Shorty" Rice Sistrunk, Jr.

Survivors include her loving husband of 58 years, Ernest Cline of DeBerry; son, Gary Cline of Atlanta, TX; daughter, Anita Cline of Carthage; grandson, Derek E. Anderson of Carthage; and great-grandson, Kasen Anderson of Carthage. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends also survive Mrs. Cline.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
