On Sunday afternoon, Dec. 1, 2019, the Lord's Angels came to take Marianna Beth Dulany McKnight. She was born on Feb. 5, 1962, in Longview, TX to Dan Edward Dulany, Sr. and Mary Francis Lehman Dulany. Marianna graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1980. She married the love of her life, Danny Ray McKnight, on Feb. 5, 1981, in Carthage and together they had 3 children. Marianna had a long career with Coldwell Banker Ken Andrus & Associates. She loved her job, Belinda Andrus, and the many real estate agents throughout her career as office administrator. Marianna was a member of First Baptist Church in Carthage. She was preceded in death by her father, Dan Dulany, Sr.; niece, Shasta Nicole Dulany; father-in-law, Wayne McKnight; and her grandparents.

She is survived by her husband, Danny McKnight of Carthage; daughters, Stephanie Taylor and husband Ty of Huxley and Lisa Aleman and husband Jeremy  of Katy; son, David McKnight of Carthage; grandchildren, Tanner, Daniel, Madison, and Mackenzie Taylor all of Huxley; mother, Mary Dulany of the Murvaul Community; brothers, Mike Dulany and wife Gloria of the Murvaul Community, Joe Dulany and wife Tessie of Pearland, and Dan Dulany, Jr. and wife Debbie of Montgomery; mother-in-law, Betty McKnight of Carthage; sister-in-law, Cynthia McKnight; and brother-in-law, Allen Wayne McKnight. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loved ones also survive.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Murvaul Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Ty Taylor, Tanner Taylor, Daniel Taylor, Jeremy Aleman, Allan Dulany, and Eric Dulany.

Honorary pallbearers are JJ Ebarb, James Allen Ebarb, Dillon Ebarb, Shane Dulany, Evan Dulany, and Ken Andrus.
