Graveside services for Mrs. Marguerite Sarah Ravell, age 86 of Carthage, Texas formerly of Farmers Branch, Texas will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 31, 2006 at Faulkenberry Cemetery in Groesbeck, Texas with Reverend Robert Herzig officiating. Interment will follow the services under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home of Carthage, Texas. Mrs. Ravell passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2006 in Carthage.
Marguerite Sarah Meredith Ravell was born on January 31, 1920 in Dallas, Texas to Elbert Nelson and Mattie Lee Coleman Meredith. Mrs. Ravell was a secretary for Brandt Engineering in Dallas, Texas. She had lived in Carthage since June of 2003 moving from Farmers Branch. Mrs. Ravell was of the Methodist faith. She was married to Thomas Dee Ravell who preceded her in death on July 4, 1997.
Mrs. Ravell is survived by her sister, Jean Meredith Jordan of Carthage;Nephew, Micheal H. Caffarel of Boonsburo, Maryland; and close friends, Ed and Barbara Jordan of Carthage.
