Graveside services for Mrs. Margo Yoes, age 72 of Tatum, Texas, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, 2009, at Tatum Cemetery with Pastor Jason Taylor officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home before the service. Mrs. Yoes passed away on Friday morning, June 5, 2009, in Longview.
Margo Loveunia Wilson Yoes was born on January 7, 1937, in Navarro, Texas to Sanford and Floy Mae Hurley Wilson. Mrs. Yoes graduated from Mesquite High School with the class of 1954. She married John O. Yoes on August 18, 1956, in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Mrs. Yoes worked for Taylor Publishing and Fleming Foods Inc. She loved quilting, sewing, and taking care of her plants. Mrs. Yoes moved to Tatum in 2001, from Dallas. She was a Catholic.
Mrs. Yoes is survived by her husband, John Yoes of Tatum; two sons, Norman Yoes of Tennessee Colony and Crawford Yoes of Tatum; three daughters, Rachel Yoes of San Antonio, Felicia Sanders and husband JR of Tatum, and Carla Hathcock and husband Raymon of Carrollton; two brothers, Thomas Wilson and wife Marilyn of Michigan and Jonathan Wilson of Ore City; two sisters, Sue Richardson and husband Bill of Kemp and Janice Wilson of Tool; seven grandchildren, James DuBois, Shawn DuBois, Tony Hathcock, Tommy Hathcock, Cody Hathcock, Miranda Yoes, and Lori Sanders; and one great-grandchild, Kaiden James DuBois.
Serving as pallbearers are James DuBois, Shawn DuBois, JR Sanders, Raymon White, Tommy Hathcock, and Cody Hathcock.
