Obituary

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret D. Jameson, age 88 of Tatum, Texas, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2007 at Tatum United Methodist Church with Reverend Robert Shelton officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Tatum Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Jameson passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2007 in Longview.

Margaret Donnelly Jameson was born on July 28, 1919 in Huntington, West Virginia to Daniel Joseph and Bessie Jane Brown Donnelly. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1937 and St. Mary's Nursing School in 1942 in Huntington. Mrs. Jameson served her country in the United States Army Medical Corps during WWII. She married Charles R. Jameson on October 2, 1943 in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Mrs. Jameson worked as a nurse at Panola General Hospital in Carthage and also worked at Beckville and Tatum School Districts as the school nurse for many years. Mrs. Jameson had lived in Tatum since 1945, where she was a faithful and active member of the Tatum United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Jameson who passed away on August 19, 1980; three brothers, Patrick F. Donnelly, John Donnelly, and Charles R. Owens; and one sister, Mary Alma Donnelly.

Mrs. Jameson is survived by two sons, John C. Jameson and wife Debbie of Tatum and Dan Jameson of Corpus Christi; three daughters, Charlotte Hillin and husband Roy of Tatum, Suzanne Bozek and husband Greg of Cedar Hill, and Mary Margaret Rambo and husband Mike of Colleyville; one brother, Ruell M. Owens of Garland; ten grandchildren, Juli Jameson and husband Matt Hatch, Matt Jameson, Nicholas Charles Jameson, Wayne Hillin and wife Sabrina, Sean Hillin and wife Lana, Erin Jones and husband Clint, Charles Gregory Bozek, Mary Charlotte Bozek, Charles Rambo, and Aaron Rambo; and ten great-grandchildren.

The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to all of Mrs. Jameson's caregivers.

Serving as pallbearers are Wayne Hillin, Matt Jameson, Sean Hillin, Charles Gregory Bozek, Nicholas Charles Jameson, and Charles Rambo. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Aaron Rambo, Clint Jones, and Matt Hatch.
