Graveside services for Mrs. Mable Edna Harris, age 77 years of Carthage, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2006 at Carthage City Cemetery with Dr. Don Cocklin officiating. Interment will follow the graveside services under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Harris passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2006 in Carthage, Texas
Mable Edna Harris was born on February 15, 1928 in Sweetwater, Texas to Charlie Deward and Claudie Lee Fowler Bray. Mrs. Harris loved her grandchildren and her pets dearly. She had lived her lifetime in Carthage and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by two sons, Joe Worth Ham's in 1967 and Lonnie Shane Boyette in 2001.
Mrs. Harris is survived by two sons, Jerry Harris and wife Sue of Beckville and David Harris and wife Diane of Beckville; one daughter, Mary Nell McDaniel and husband Kenny of Uncertain; twelve grandchildren, Lamesia Dodson, Amy Etheredge, Darla Harris, Daphne Courtney, Deonna Summers, Justin McDaniel, Mika Boyette, Nicole Boyette, Stormy Boyette, Lonnie Boyette, Sierra Boyette, and Hunter Boyette; and eleven great-grandchildren.
