Lonnie Odell Hodge, 52, of Gary, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, in Post, Texas due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on May 20, 1968, in Houston, Texas to Theron Odell and Cathey Youngblood Hodge. Lonnie worked as a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Jimmy Ray Hodge.

Survivors include his mother, Cathey Hodge of Carthage; sisters, Cathy Lee Rickett and fiancé Mark Vulich of Gary and Stephanie Ann Guynes of Shelbyville; and nephews, Austin Hodge of Carthage and Dillon Hodge of Gary.

A graveside service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, December 14, 2020, at Mt. Bethel Cemetery with Bro. E.J. Adams officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home prior to the graveside service.
