Lois Davenport, 82, of Carthage, TX, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 14, 2018, in Carthage. Lois Jacqueline Williams Davenport was born on Aug. 12, 1936, in Houston, TX to the late Evander Lee Williams, Sr. and Lois Irene Townley Williams. She graduated from Aldine High School in Houston. Mrs. Davenport was an excellent cook. She was preceded in death by her parents and children, Mark and Julie.

She is survived by her brother, Mickey Williams of Normangee and nephews, Mike Williams of Marlin and Roger Williams of Conroe.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, at Carthage City Cemetery with Rev. Steve Jackson officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
